Photography

As a photographer, I specialize in storytelling through food and lifestyle photography with a soft spot for capturing the heart of community in the most creative ways.  I look for the communication between things, whether a dish playing in natural light,  a potter's hands immersed in clay, or a pair of dinner guests locked in a moment of intimate discussion. A photograph is a conversation. I work closely with my clients to curate images that infuse this belief into every project.  From bringing new energy into your personal projects to elevating your brand's story I am here to create and collaborate alongside you.

Styling and Creative Direction

As a stylist, I help build a visual narrative that adds depth and vibrancy and brings your brand or story to life.  If needed I can be involved with nearly every step of a shoot: selecting and preparing ingredients, setting tablescapes or interiors, product placement, or plating meals with any related props to help craft the perfect visual narrative.

I believe in the power of visual storytelling to breathe life into brands and stories. If you want to expand your business and need assistance highlighting your brand I will work with you one-on-one to have a clear sense of your vision and what type of imagery will work for you. WE will work together to create a 'shot list' and a creative direction that authentically represents you or your brand.

Recipe Development

From composition books full of faded pencil notes and butter-stained post-its to well-composed and tested recipes I take a hands-on approach, collaborating closely with you to ensure that every creation is not only well-written and thoroughly researched but above all, tastes delicious. As a savory and pastry chef I am available to assist in developing, replicating, or fine-tuning your recipes in addition to styling and shooting.

THE STUDIO

Nestled in the heart of Beverly, MA, Fennel House Studio is is more than just a workspace; it's a sanctuary for creativity and collaboration. The House is a 1200sq foot natural light photo studio and event space with a full kitchen that is not only an ideal environment where I can create and explore projects but a place for you to do so as well. If on-location is not the best fit for your project, shooting in the studio is always a convenient alternative open to all collaborating with me.
